Research
The Department’s empirical research covers scientifically generated problems and combines social-theoretical, methodological and methodical aspects. In more concrete terms, research is related, amongst other things, to the fields of empirical ethics research, organization sociology, migration research, palliative care, the difference of perspectives in public debates, the structure of multi-professional teams, economic and political sociology. We apply qualitative methods whilst maintaining a permanent close contact with quantitative social research.
