Further Information

Professor Nassehi was elected Vice President of LMU for six years by the LMU University Council on July 23, 2025.

The term of office begins on October 1, 2025, at which point Professor Nassehi will take a leave of absence from his chair to take up the new position, thus ending his 27-year teaching career at LMU's Department of Sociology.

The Chair will be substituted from the winter semester 2025/26 until it is reoccupied, so that the Chair's teaching activities will continue uninterrupted.

Information on the person replacing the chair and the corresponding offer will be provided here in due course.
